IPRECON (IEEE International Power and Renewable Energy Conference) is India's first IEEE Club of 6 conference, proudly organized by the IEEE Student Branch, College of Engineering Karunagappally. Since its inception, IPRECON has set a benchmark in combining innovation, sustainability, and academic excellence — offering a unified platform for students, researchers, professionals, and industry experts to collaborate on transformative solutions for the future of power and energy.

The conference has consistently maintained its commitment to excellence, providing researchers and professionals with opportunities to share cutting-edge innovations and contribute to sustainable solutions for global energy challenges. IPRECON emphasizes the integration of power systems, renewable energy, electronics, artificial intelligence, and data science to shape a sustainable and intelligent future.

All proceedings are published in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, with 20% of presented papers eligible for further review and possible publication in premier IEEE IAS periodicals, including Transactions and Magazines.

The fifth edition of India's first and only IEEE Club of 6 Technical Paper Conference is organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the College of Engineering Karunagappally, with technical co-sponsorship from IEEE IAS and IEEE PES. Scheduled for 15–17 October 2027 at CEK, Kerala, the conference offers a premier platform for students, researchers, and professionals to present cutting-edge innovations in power, renewable energy, and computing. The event features technical sessions, keynote talks, distinguished lectures, and workshops, with all accepted papers submitted to the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.
